Maine wedding experience. From chef-catered rehearsal dinners and reception banquets to
intimate ceremonies and complete site packages with lodging, let us help you plan your
perfect Midcoast Maine wedding!

With rambling front porches, front and
back
patios with fire pits and lounging space and a comfortable, spacious lobby
area
to gather and relax, Whitehall provides a unique and updated venue perfect
for
those in search of an authentic artisanal Maine experience and intimate,
outside-of-the-box events.
Combining our three unique, attached spaces, we can comfortably hold
weddings
for up to 110 people. We also offer the opportunity to rent out the entire
36-room inn for you and your guests (please note: we require a full buy-out
for
weddings of over 80 people).
Graced with a gorgeous handmade bar and a
wall
of windows overlooking the private back patio, the main dining room is
perfect
for rehearsal dinners, intimate wedding receptions, company gatherings, and
more. The room offers a variety of set-up options to meet your needs and can
be
combined with private dining room and sunporch as well as the back patio.

The private dining room and sunporch can be open to the main dining room and
backpatio for larger events or closed off for smaller fêtes.

A private oasis at the rear of the inn, the back patio flows beautifully
from
our other spaces and can be utilized as an outdoor space at your larger
event,
or for smaller, more casual outdoor gatherings. With a fire pit and
comfortable,
but modernized outdoor lounge furniture and lovely patio string lights, the
space can be set up
to suit your needs. Our back patio also makes a lovely spot for a private,
intimate wedding ceremony.
We also offer the option to combine the back patio with the main dining room
and
private dining room and sunporch for larger events.
Whitehall is proud to partner with a number of local catering partners, and we’re happy
to
work with you to help you find the perfect fit for your event.
Whitehall also offers a full-service bar and licensed bartenders. We are proud to
feature
many wines, beers, and spirits made in Maine and can help you to source any specific
products you may want to serve at your event.
To ensure complete client satisfaction, all beverage selections must be finalized no
later
than thirty business days prior to the event. Catering deadlines will be set by your
caterer.

England lobster bake for your rehearsal dinner the night before. Options
abound,
and our catering partners are happy to work with you to create the perfect
night-before-the-event-event.

Cancellation Policy
Camden Maine hotels tend to be small. Because of our size, cancellations affect us significantly. For any cancellation or change of dates, we must receive 14 days* notice prior to your confirmed arrival for a refund of your deposit, less a $25 fee per room. If any cancellation is made within 14 days*, regardless of the reason, your deposit will be non-refundable. You are always welcome to send a friend or family member in your place.
If any change of dates (including shortening a reservation) is requested within 14 days*, regardless of the reason, a one-time change is permitted, subject to availability and minimum stay restrictions. There is a $75 fee for this change and your deposit becomes non-refundable. After check-in, a shortened stay will remain charged in full per the original reservation.
Group Cancellations
Group reservations consisting of ten (10) or more rooms are final and deposits are completely non-refundable.
Check-in and Check-out Times
Check-in begins at 3:00 pm. Check-out is at 11:00 am.
Travel Insurance
We realize that cancellations are often beyond your personal control. For this reason we recommend purchasing travel insurance for peace of mind. Whitehall will be happy to supply your travel insurance company with any needed documentation regarding our policy and your reservation. For insurance information please visit InsureMyTrip.
Rates, Taxes & Gratuities
Rates do not include a 9% Maine lodging tax and are subject to change without prior notice. Gratuities for the housekeeping crew are not included in the room rate.
Deposit
For a multiple night stay, a deposit of half of the total charges is due at the time of booking. For a one night stay, the full amount is due as a deposit. Payment can be made with Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club or Discover. We will send confirmation of your reservation upon receipt of your deposit.
Additional Person
Up to two additional people may be accommodated in our suites only for the rate of $50 per person per night. Children do qualify as additional guests.
Children
Whitehall welcomes children. Most rooms can accommodate only two people. Our suites can accommodate up to 4 people. Please see our policy on additional people.
Pets
Pet are not allowed on the property. We'd be happy to recommend nearby kennels if necessary.
We are a Smoke-Free Camden Hotel
Whitehall is a 100% non-smoking Camden lodging property, including outdoor common spaces. A $250 cleaning surcharge will be imposed to any room where guests have smoked with disregard for our policy.
Accessibility
Please note that access to some rooms requires the use of stairs.
Guest Responsibility
While accidents do happen, guests will be financially responsible for damage due to gross negligence.
